Orienting toward a life of greater love, courage, resilience, and integrity.
As a death literacy doula I journey alongside people through the sometimes disorienting experience of being human, by naturalizing conversations around dark topics like mortality, and providing mental, emotional and spiritual support to facilitate healing, and restore a greater sense of ease, calm and perspective.

This is not about problem-solving per se.
It is an open-ended introspective exploration.
The goal isn’t to make life problem-free.
We’re learning how to befriend ourselves more fully.
It’s a bit like a good road trip. There may be a plan, but the real juice comes as a result of being open to possibilities and not predetermining where you want to end up. It’s a process of discovery. That’s the magic.
Thus, my way of supporting people is oriented toward deep listening and an open-ended exploration of whatever comes up in the moment, following that thread as it is woven through their narrative. This is a non-judgemental, organic, respectful process of learning that builds trust little by little in one’s self, and one’s capacity for change. A simple, compassionate conversation giving ordinary life greater depth, meaning, and value.
One hour session: $100.00 CAD
Multi-session package: $400.00 CAD
*The multi-session package is for five, one hour sessions.
All sessions are delivered on-line via Zoom.
*Note: If you're in active crisis, therapy comes first.

Mortality for Mortals is a course focusing on the connection between death literacy and life literacy, in a society that seems to understand death as the opposite of life, rather than an inextricably intimate, potentially beautiful, yet challenging part of it.
Here we will consider the various ways in which we hold mortality, both personally and culturally, and we will reflect on the ways in which a rich, robust acknowledgement of mortal concerns, may bode well for a richer, more robust experience of ordinary life giving it greater depth, meaning and value.
