Death is a very basic human experience, and there is increasing evidence which suggests that fear of death may be at the root of numerous mental health conditions. Thus, naturalizing conversations around dark topics like mortality, and providing mental, emotional and spiritual support to restore a greater sense of ease, calm and perspective, is critically important.

    Death literacy, is life literacy.
